Anders Nereim’s piece, Nervous Wall, is a prototypical construction of a wall that is sensitive to light. His automated wall folds closed or unfolds depending on light in the space.

Nereim has also built a small robot running on wires for his piece Shadow Catching Light that literally speeds away at the sight of a human shadow.
