Fascinated by captured and layered light, Heidi Van Weiren has been using it as a tool in her recent paintings. Working with Elmer’s Glue and ink, she builds up layer upon layer, creating a marvelous depth in these subtle, 3-dimensional explorations of ambiguous, shallow space.
